Amanda Marie Alvarado and Matthew William Couch, both of Elkins, plan to marry July 26, 2008, at the Elkins Community Church in Elkins.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Natalie and Fernando Alvarado of Elkins. She is the granddaughter of Bonnie Marie Cousins of Elkins, the late Sidney and Albert Cousins and Maria Rocha De La Cruz and Ciro Alvarado of Zacatecas, Mexico.
She has a bachelor's degree in advertising / public relations from the University of Arkansas. She is a project coordination / realty compliance specialist for Wal-Mart.
The prospective groom is the son of Caroline and Matthew Couch of Elkins. He is the grandson of the late Rita and John Couch and the late Bernice and Monroe Rogers.
He has a bachelor's degree in transportation / logistics from the University of Arkansas and is a direct impact logistics flow coordinator for Wal-Mart logistics.
