A thank you note from the band
A big "thank you "is in order to all those who helped make the past season of concerts by the Bella Vista Community Concert Band one of the most successful in our 23-year history.
First, we are very thankful and grateful for the rehearsal site provided by the Bella Vista Community Church. Without the church's help and assistance, there would be no community band. The church also allowed us to give our opening concert in the sanctuary.
A big thank you for a job well done to all the musicians, many of whom drive many miles to get to rehearsals and performances from Eureka Springs, Holiday Island, Sulphur Springs, Fayetteville and even Anderson and Neosho, Mo., in addition to Rogers, Bentonville and Bella Vista. A big pat on the back for a job well done to the staff from the Metfield Club, who prepared the picnic suppers at Blowing Springs before each concert. The buildings and grounds crew responsible for maintaining Blowing Springs Park also did a good job - thank you.
We were able to conclude our season inside Becker Hall because of the generosity of the First United Methodist Church of Bella Vista. Thank you. And finally, a huge thank you is in order for the loyal, faithful listeners who attended our concerts from May to the end of September. We appreciate your support and look forward to serving you next year. Enjoy the fall and winter, and we will see you next spring.
